A client-side software token can be easily delivered, downloaded and embedded into a user's device, such as a personal computer or mobile phone. It performs basic functions for managing and generating OATH HOTP-compliant one-time password values using a secret credential, provisioned and stored securely on the user device.

Available on multiple mobile platforms such as J2ME (Java phones), BlackBerry, MS Windows Mobile for Pocket PC, MS Windows Mobile for Smartphone, Palm OS, Symbian, and BREW. Also available as a standalone application for Windows desktops or as a plug-in for MS Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers.
